Electrical Tips and Tricks: Part 2 of 3 — Locating A Circuit In An Unmarked Breaker Box (Yes, it’s possible. And easy.)

A lot of electrical work starts with a simple concern: how can this work be performed safely–or, better, how can I sort this out without death or hospitalization.

The Great Coronavirus Wars of 2020 (Or: how to paint your AR.)

You’ve seen a rifle getting painted by an attractive man in a flannel.

I do it a little bit differently. (I don’t wear a flannel.)

It’s your moral and patriotic duty to fix your own stuff. (Or: How To Repair Your Garden Hose Instead of Replacing It.)

To own a garden hose is to hate a garden hose. They break, they leak, they fall apart, they need to be replaced. They’re also incredibly easy to fix. It costs very little, and like Hemingway’s broken places, they’re often stronger and better after the repair.

During the great coronavirus wars of 2020, there are two more things that are almost as certain as death and taxes: pregnancies, and painted AR15s. As a matter of fact, I feel–at this point, and I while I certainly hope I’m right, only time will tell–that painting your AR15 out of quarantine boredom will be a much more common act than having to use it.

Unboxing the Milwaukee M12 Inflator + 2ah Battery + Portable Power Source Kit — And Why I Hate Milwaukee.

My experience with the Milwaukee M18 line lasted two weeks and ended with me plopping a dirty bag of Milwaukee tools down on the returns counter at Home Depot and finally saying “thank you” a dozen times to the employee who shocked me to my core by being both polite and efficient while returning these tools without any protest. This site will start back up again soon.

Basically, I got an email from Google, forwarded from a dead email address to my current address, showing me analytics for this site that I’d entirely forgotten exists. And, so it seems, this site is getting a good bit of traffic.

Because of that, and the fact that I’d had plans to create a different online presence from the ground up, I’ll be starting all of that here.

So if you’ve happened upon this site and like what you see, you can expect more. But no more BMW content, as I no longer have that car. The content will mainly be how-to information and reviews.
